My name is pj buchanan - and I'm poetry jack. I bring my own brand of poetry to anyone who cares to listen or read. I've performed at festivals (including Glastonbury), bars, cafés, libraries, schools, and even a ferry boat.
I have a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Bath Spa Uni and I have a Certificate in Counselling Skills from Bristol Uni -- these allow me to teach creative writing in a safe and supportive way.
I now live in County Durham. I've moved around the country quite a bit - I was born in Scotland, though sadly I've lost my lovely sexy Scottish accent - something to do with the school I went to. I have two grown up kids, Dave and Jennie, that I adore and spend as much time with as possible.
My favourite possession is my motorbike - a Ducati Monster 620ie When I can combine riding the bike with seeing my son, he has a Honda CBR, I'm a very happy bunny.
